Miskelly BMD Records

When I initially started out in 1999 there were very few records on line which meant a trip to the records office in London. Over many weekends I trawled through the record books from 1837 up to 1995 and recorded all the Miskelly entries I could find starting with Births then moving on to Deaths and eventually Marriage.  Thankfully later on records gradually came on line making the whole task much easier.

As I checked on line to try and fill in those details I had not recorded I have entered the reference numbers for each event so that if I then required a certificate I could just look up my records and order it. Please feel free to do the same as you may have to sign up to one of the many web sites that now offer information for a fee.  If you have some of the missing details then again as always I would be very grateful for any information.

The district code, 3 letters, is usually the first three letters of the area, ie - CAR Carlisle, DAR Darlington, MAN Manchester etc. There are too many codes to list so if you need the district for some reason then take a guess or email me.

Again nothing is guaranteed and I may have errors which if you spot please feel free to contact me.
