Storrow/Banks Family Tree

On My maternal side my  Grandfather Joseph Storrow Banks has some very interesting connections which took my research first to Jamaica and then on to Canada and the United states.  His Mother Hanna Storrow descended from a long line of Storrows who had migrated from Yorkshire to Cumberland around 1700.

I discovered that one Thomas Storrow a farmers son had managed to find passage to Jamaica, most probably on a ship carrying coal, and he became rich delving in to property and shipyards. His descendants went on to become prominent American citizens and it was that which led me to visit one of his descendants in Vermont.

I have yet to prove the connection between Thomas Storrow and my Grandfathers line but I am working on that in communication with the only Storrow descendant I have been able to find living in Carlisle.
